Schedule Breakdown
Breakdown of the Day : Our day starts with free draw and a chance for the kids to ease into the day. We go over the rules and breakdown for the day during our opening circle. Then we jump into yoga and meditation followed by snack and our morning art project. Our group heads out to have lunch and time outside in nearby Riverside park / Central Park weather permitting each day. We always try to get them fresh air and time outside if possible! Following the outdoors, they return to the studio for a longer art project in the afternoon. Finally we end our day with a closing circle. All camps are run by Two Teaching Artists and also incorporate museum field trips.

Why only 10 kids?
Spark has always maintained smaller classes for greater interaction, learning and this has led to our camp being like no other. This 10-person cap is followed to ensure safety for a manageable group for our camps.
What are the day camps like?
Our day camps are experiences that expose children to art, yoga and meditation. Our camps feature immersive art making, large scale and small projects, field trips, visiting artists and more. Based on schedule.
Will yoga and meditation be a part of this program?
YES, what better place to introduce these elements. We will teach them the concepts of both and develop practices on how to incorporate these disciplines into their lives.
What if it rains?
Should there be inclement weather, we will use the Spark studio at 72nd street.
What happens if you don’t meet the minimum amount needed?
You will be notified a week out if such a scenario exists and a full refund will be given.
